Available in black walnut, white oak, or ash in a range of finishes, and a range of fabric and leather options. Platform base is black stained MDF with holes for air circulation. See menus below for further material information.
Upholstered cushions softening the inner face of the headboard drape over the top and fix to the back with wooden toggles secured with leather loops.
Integrated solid wood bedside tables include deep drawers with interiors made from basswood, a blond timber with outstanding stability in varying climates, ensuring a smooth-running function. Drawers are detailed with dovetail joinery and a soft-close mechanism.
Cables from bedside lighting can pass between the back of the bedside table and the headboard, feeding out through the bottom of the bed. The bedsides have a quick-release mechanism to facilitate this process.
Please note that when using leather to upholster the expansive surface of the headboard, our craftspeople will use their discretion to ensure the natural variations in the hide’s colour and grain are most elegantly displayed. This may mean adding stitch lines to the headboard. Our craftspeople may also need to add a stitch line to the headboard when applying upholstery, such as those with a pattern or prominent texture, depending on the orientation of the roll.
Crafted at the solar-powered De La Espada factory in Portugal. Designed by a creative partner and rigorously engineered with the support of our in-house product development team and expert craftspeople. Durability, comfort and aesthetics combine for a product that lasts a lifetime.
Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed.
Textiles supplied by a renowned Danish partner with fabric mills in Norway, Italy and the UK. Leather sourced from tanneries in Sweden and Italy using only hides from European cattle.

Solid wood is an expression of the life of a tree, grown for at least 30 years, and the weather patterns it experienced, the absorption of sunshine and minerals. The tree is imbued with meaning, and this meaning is transferred to the piece of furniture it becomes.
Our planks are cut in a way that honours the growth rings and grain, making them clearly visible.
AMERICAN BLACK WALNUT
Our American black walnut is from the midwestern United States. This is a prized hardwood with luxuriously figurative grain patterns and great strength. The walnut tree is relatively small, and the dark heartwood is surrounded by sap wood that is blond in colour.
Our American black walnut timber is available in a choice of oil finishes.
Danish oiled walnut

White oiled walnut
Our Danish oil, white oil, and black oil finishes provide a renewable surface for enduring beauty. Damage can be repaired with relative ease, as the timber can be reapplied with wax or oil at any moment.

Our American white oak is from the eastern coast of the United States. Oak has long been used in furniture due to its great density, outstanding durability and simple, understated beauty. Its durability is compounded by the fact that it contains tannin acid, which naturally prevents rotting.
Our American white oak timber is available in a choice of oil finishes, or an oxidised finish.

EUROPEAN ASH
Our European Ash is from Portugal, Spain and France. European Ash is a hardwood that has long been prized by cabinetmakers due to its versatility and simple beauty. This dense timber has a coarse yet even texture, compressive strength, and an appealing straight grain. It varies in colour from a cream to pale tan colour and accepts stains and coatings more readily than other timbers.
Our European ash timber is available in a choice of oil, painted, or stained finishes.
