UPPER WEST SIDE RESIDENCE

This spacious four-bedroom apartment, located within walking distance of Central Park on New York’s Upper West Side, benefits from elevated views to the east and an abundance of southern light. With interiors and architecture by AMMOR Architecture LLP, the residence is defined by a mix of natural materials and sculptural forms; both a design statement and a comfortable family home that highlights the owner’s great taste in art and design.

The large living room, both the physical and social heart of the home, features a corner unit Belle Reeve Sofa by Luca Nichetto in grey wool linen upholstery with a Black Marquina marble side table. With its intricate walnut lattice back, the sofa doubles as an elegant room divider. Elysia Lounge Chair and Nino Ottoman, also by Luca Nichetto, punctuate the living space with their sculptural forms and bold rust fabric that mirrors the warm tones of the room’s paintings.

The dining room features a legacy De La Espada dining table that the owner has had for many years. The architects chose to keep this table in this new home due to its classic, timeless aesthetic and used it as inspiration for the custom walnut kitchen.
